Flesh, wine and philosophy guaranteed and explored as Dionysus - the Greek god of wine and fertility - challenges the naked hypocrisy of Apollo - the Greek god of order and truth!

The music used in apollo / dionysus is taken from the album: ‘Requiem - Well of Souls’ with kind permission of Nigel Shaw.
Part I of apollo / dionysus was first performed at The Castle, Wellingborough, in July 2006 before its première performance at the 60th Edinburgh Festival Fringe throughout August 2006.
The company was then invited to perform at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival during May 2007. In Dublin, Jonny Liron (Dionysus) received a nomination for Best Actor and the Company won the Hilton Edwards Award for Outstanding Achievement in Production for the design of apollo / dionysus.
